THE PHONOAUDIOLOGIC INTERVENTION IN A CASE OF PSYCHOGENIC DISTURBANCE OF LANGUAGE
A INTERVENÇÃO FONOAUDIOLÓGICA EM UM CASO DE DISTÚRBIO DE LINGUAGEM PSICOGÊNICO

Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: To describe and analyze the case of a boy with language disorder psychogenic in speech therapy in a clinical school of speech therapy. CASE REPORT: Patient E., 5 years old, came to the school clinic two years ago with the complaint of language delay and speech. E. spoke the first words after two years, but did not form sentences and did not use the pronoun "I". In addition, the mother E. prolonged symbiosis and infantilizes, and suspects that your withdrawal is that due to autism, because in a few moments the boy did not interact. The speech therapy aimed to establish the relationship between patient and therapist, providing the development of receptive and expressive oral language, especially the acquisition of rich vocabulary, short sentences and building more stability in dialogism, encouraging the development of symbolic play. Through play and correct models non-directive was intended that the patient could structure their language, giving shape and meaning appropriate. In addition, parents received guidance through interviews continued, and the participation of a group of parents with a psychologist and a speech therapist. CONCLUSION: The boy, who did not interact during the session, currently maintains a richer dialogue with the therapist and the people around you, and is becoming the language. It is emphasized the importance of speech therapy in combination with the continued work with the family in order to insert them in the therapeutic process.
