It is known that body balance is dependent on the integrity of the vestibular, somatosensory, visual, and a head injury can affect the structures of the vestibular system causing symptoms such as vertigo. Vestibular rehabilitation (RV) is a therapeutic method that seeks to restore balance through exercise, providing compensation and habituation. To assess the impact of dizziness on quality of life of patients was used for Dizziness Handicap Questionnaire (QHT), which was the first and fourth session. The total score obtained in the first session QHT was 22 points, 6 points for the physical aspect, functional aspect in 12 points and 4 points for the emotional. In the last session QHT showed a total score of 8 points, as follows: 4 points for the physical aspect, the functional aspect 4 points and 0 point to the emotional. Given the improvement in the patient was discharged after four sessions of RV. CONCLUSION: Vestibular rehabilitation proved to be an effective therapeutic option for compensation of vertigo and improve the quality of life of patients.
