The Tornwaldt cyst is the most common cyst found in middle line of the nasopharynx. The authors describe a patient with a Tornwaldt cyst whose major complaint was an unilateral hearing loss, due to a secretory otitis media, once the cyst was obstructing the auditory tube. After marsupialization of cyst and myringotomy, the normal conditions in the middle ear were restored.
