INTERVENTION IN GROUP: PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS OF SPACE LISTEN PROGRAM

Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the effectiveness of workshops in the Intervention Project PEE elicitor as an area of communication and oral language development. To this end, we compared the frequency of occurrence of certain linguistic behaviors before and after the work on PEE. METHODS: This study was conducted with five children users of IC in the age group 05 - 10 years old and hearing aged between 08 months and 05 years. Data were collected at an interval of 06 months. During this period, the children attended the PEE for the weekly participation in recreational activities in a group. Data analysis was based on parameters related to: dialogical or conversational skills and communicative functions, as well as levels of symbolization (verbal and nonverbal means) and contextualization of language. RESULTS: Comparison of Then click here showed that for all participants, significant changes in the language studied aspects, is to increase the frequency of occurrence of behaviors, behaviors of the appearance is not previously observed. CONCLUSIONS: The workshops seem to have developed the PEE potentiated dialogic situations conducive to oral language development and improvement of language skills.
