VOICE / HEALTH VOICE OF PROFESSIONALS AND / OR TEACHER OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION: ANALYSIS OF LITERATURE WITH FOCUS ON THE WORKPLACE

Abstract:

Effective communication is essential for the professional and / or physical education teacher and speech is a fundamental instrument, being essential to have health and well-being vocal even in the face of adverse conditions and environments. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the publications on voice / vocal health of teachers / professionals of Physical Education with a focus on local action of these workers. MATERIAL AND METHODS: survey of the literature on Brazilian speech voice / vocal health of teachers / Physical Education professionals. The analysis emphasizes the types of professional activity. RESULTS: There are few theoretical studies and literature review and research in various fields. Prevails studies in Physical Education teachers who work in gyms, varying modalities: Aerobics, Body Pump, Body Combat, Axe / Forro, Jump Fit Total Circuit, Body Step, In-door Cycling, Gymnastics Located, Spinning Step, aerobics and swimming. Studies with Physical Education teachers in schools (Elementary Education, Middle and Upper) occur to a lesser extent, by varying the type of school: public, private and two. Note that the segment of the class teacher of Physical Educators who work in schools is very poorly studied. CONCLUSIONS: Considering the importance of the voice, the needs and demands of the professional vocal and physical education teachers, under adverse working conditions and imply a risk to vocal health, the literature shows is precarious to support programs aimed at promoting vocal health of these professionals, especially those stationed in public and private schools, since little is known about their working conditions and health.
