TURBINAL BONES IN NASAL DORSUM RECONSTRUCTION. REPORT OF A SURGICAL CASE

Abstract:

The nasal pyramid reconstruction, especially in traumatic depression cases, is a surgery ever looking for the best substance to accomplishment and sustentation of the affected area. The search for an organic graft with minimal rejection and absortion and easy to get and work with, resulted in the auricular cartilage as the main given area. We show a surgical case where the nasal turbinal bones, after turbinectomy, are obtained accomplishment the autogenus graft, with excellent functional and esthetic result.
