Dear Friends,

Please find below the prizing rules for the articles published in our magazine. We still have one more edition to be published this year of 2008, don't miss it!

The competing works must have been published in the editions of volume 12, of this year. The rules for submittal of articles for the magazine International Files of Otorhinolaryngology are fully available, in Portuguese and English, here in the magazine and in the magazine's website (www.arquivosdeorl.org.br). This award concerns the following categories:

  • Original article;
  • Review article;
  • Case report article.

  • The authors and coauthors of any area in the health sciences may try it, and the works published in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian and French are accepted.

    The judging committee will be coordinated by the magazine's editor-in-chief and composed by members of the editorial body and Otorhinolaryngology Foundation's representatives. The works will be judged as for the scientific merit, including originality, consistency, significance and impact.

    For the original articles a money prize will be awarded to the first author of each one of the three selected works. In addition, all authors and coauthors will receive a certificate with allusion to the prizing obtained for their respective works in the 3 competing categories as well as courtesy in the registration for the 8th Congress of the Otorhinolaryngology Foundation.

    While this great event doesn't come, I look forward to seeing you aboard the Magic Coast ship, in the 7th Congress of the Otorhinolaryngology Foundation.

    Best regards,

    Marcelo Miguel Hueb
