MAXILLARY SINUSOTOMY BY ENDOSCOPIC WAY IN 10 PATIENTS WITH MAXILLARY SINUSITS AFTER INCREASE OF THE FLOOR OF THE MAXILLARY SINUS, DENTAL IMPLANT AND / OR SURGERY ENDODONTIC

Abstract:

OBJECTIVES: report of the use of technical sinusotomy by endoscopic way in patients who developed sinusits to be submitted after a surgical procedure for dental surgeon-dentists. MATERIALS AND METHODS: patients had been submitted before a surgery increase within the floor of jaw, dental implant and / or surgery endodontic. Sinusists jaw to evolve to postoperative been treated by surgeon-dentists with antibiotics. No better signs and symptoms and so in specialized clinic referred to otolaryngologist. Patients subject to sinusotomy jaw by endoscopic treatment sinusitis and removal of fragments when needed. RESULTS: A technique of endoscopic sinusotomoy had satispactory results, improves with full of symptoms of patients. Monitoring postoperative time and was fundamental to accompany lasted until 180 days. No patient required extracts the implants. Other patients could give continuity to dental treatment postoperative. CONCLUSION: Endoscopic technique applied in such cases may be selected, and is an option simple, comfortable and without complications.
