Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: To present the work in the Health-UFCSPA-PET in the period 2010 to 2011, and the involvement of professional experience from the program. METHODOLOGY: During the period 2010 to 2011, various activities were held at the Health Unit Family Santa Maria, namely: Super Teenager Agents Project, Wellness Design Group, Project Talking about Sexuality and Development of a model on the community. In addition, activities were developed in order to maintain the pleasant environment by restoring the mural of information, establishment of explanatory leaflets on breastfeeding, health, hearing and language development, among others. The production of knowledge is based on processes of territorialisation, community diagnosis, verification of the presence or absence of association and community resources, experience at USF, questioning and operation. Finally, the activities nurture the construction of actions to modify risk situations and improve the quality of community life. CONCLUSION: Given the national context of PET-Health, according to 2011 data from the Ministry of Health, we can conclude that topics are addressed in accordance with the program and that the work has produced good results, stressing the importance of speech therapy in Healthy Primary (APS). However, the experience in the monitoring program of the Health-PET contributed to the academic background of the monitor as it provided the exchange of knowledge between the different levels of training and learning various skills, optimizing the professional potential by creating conditions for deepening the practical APS.
