INTRODUCTION: Hemangioma is the more common vascular tumor, attacking the region of the head and neck in 60% of the times. It has as preferential localization the face, buccal mucous, lips and tongue; but rare attack Oropharynx and larynx. The symptoms are poor or absent, being stridor and most common light pictures of dysphonia. The objective of this work is to demonstrate to a case of hemangioma of Oropharynx and larynx and to tell its importance in the practical doctor due to the risk of hemorrhage and limitations in the way of surgical access. CASE REPORT: F.B., 31 years, feminine. Patient with dysphonia history has two years, of insidious beginning and gradual worsening of the voice, exactly after vocal rest. To the laryngoscopy is observed presence of tumor of mucous violaceous involving base of the tongue, arytenoids, nails to aryepiglottic and false right vocal fold. True mobile vocal fold and without injuries, however anti-symmetrical due to presence of the supply-glottic tumor. In the computerized tomography of neck, mass with density of soft parts in the topography of right aryepiglottic fold was proven, determining reduction of the light of the adjacent pear-shaped sinus. It has pathological vascularization in the interior, with origin in the right carotid artery external. CONCLUSION: Although of rare occurrence, hemangioma of Oropharynx and larynx can determine important difficulties to the surgical boarding and represent an imminent risk of hemorrhage, over all if extensive and not limited to a region, as in the case of the patient. Due to great extension of hemangioma, the patient remains carrying through clinical accompaniment and speech therapy exercises.
