After 4 months, R. showed greater peace of mind, paying attention in the form of play, and especially taking care of his own body in relation to the space provided. The language issue also achieved significant progress. R. began to imitate animal sounds, the plane passed, called the father, and constructing sounds to interpret their feelings. CONCLUSION: The protocol IRDIs possible to detect early signs of risk for child development, and thus, the intervention took place in a promotional perspective, the clinic in early stimulation. It was observed that only one session with the therapist, anchored by other professionals such as speech therapists, is helping to reposition R. in relation to the other and the world.
