After a clinical evaluation by the Epworth Scale and Polissonography, we operated 38 patients that presented simple snoring and/or mild or moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome. In 16 patients we did LAUP and in 22 we did UPPP with high Frequency Cautery. In 4 of these 22 patients, we associated tonsilectomy, in 8 tonsilectomy and septoplasty and in 10 septoplasty and turbinectomy. The subjective results in both techniques were similar, reducing the snoring and the daytime sonolence.
