Abstract: |
This paper describes a case of a female patient, 67 years old, with progressive oropharyngeal dysphagia and foreign body sensation in throat for about 08 months. Upon examination of the oral cavity, the uvula was observed with great increased volume, covered by mucosa includes keeping aspects of normal consistency and painless palpation. The hypothesis was diagnosed primary neoplasm of salivary glandular. The treatment was proposed resection of the lesion followed by histopathological examination. We performed a complete excision of the tumor, which histopathological examination revealed pleomorphic adenoma with free surgical margins.
