Abstract:

Introduction: The classical superior blepharoplasty surgical techniques were established and accepted for the correction of the aging signals such as orbicular laxity, skin excess, eyelid fat herniation. However, there is a lack of discussion about blepharoplasty surgery applied to the young patient without orbicular senility signs, who just want to improve the eye beauty. Objective: The objective of this study is to present our standard method of blepharoplasty in the young patient. Material and method: Nine patients underwent superior blepharoplasty. Their ages ranged from 18 to 29 years old. Results: Six months after the surgery, either the patients as the medical team considered the aesthetic effects satisfactory in all cases. Conclusion: The presented surgical technique, when properly indicated and preformed, may increase the visual aesthetic in the young patient.
