The gastroesophageal reflux disease (DRGE) and laryngopharyngeal reflux have differences, among them the atypical manifestations of reflux common in patients with RLF, such as throat clearing, globus pharynges, hoarseness and cough. Of these, the RLF can appear sullenness. In this sense, the TV reporters should conduct periodic assessment larynx and vocal, because they use the voice extensively, have poor diet and stressful daily life, favoring the development of RLF. OBJECTIVE: To describe the imaging findings of nasal-laryngoscopy related to RLF in TV reporters. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Patients, 12 TV reporters, without vocal complaints and dyspeptic, subject to examination in the otolaryngology nasal-laryngoscopy of HRAC-USP / Bauru campus. The analyzes of the tests were performed by an otolaryngologist with expertise in the area and discussion of the cases was conducted with three speech therapists. RESULTS: Seven (58.33%) of 12 TV reporters showed signs of RLF. Of these, five (41.66%) was observed hyperemia of the arytenoids, three (25%) hyperemia of the supraglottic region, one (8.33%) laryngitis, two (16.66%) hyperemia of the vocal folds and a (8, 33%) granulomas third later. Four (33.33%), TV reporters had more than a sign suggestive of LPR. CONCLUSIONS: Professional voice without vocal complaint and without symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease has shown signs of LPR, which indicates the importance of evaluation of the larynx through the examination of nasal-laryngoscopy, especially TV reporters, as the minimum laryngeal can harm your vocal performance.
